Our facilities include a lawn green with 6 rinks and a clubhouse that can accommodate up to 80 people. Our clubhouse has free wi-fi available to our members. Our free on-site car park can accommodate up to 20 vehicles. We have a well-stocked bar, separate men’s and ladies changing rooms with toilets, a kitchen, and a separate disabled toilet.
Seating with tables is located around the green for enjoyable spectating.
Our new outdoor decking area with 6 additional tables and seating is now operational and being well used - we hope these areas increase spectator enjoyment during this new season.
We offer access to our members of an on-line diary facility to book a rink, for a practice session or to play a game. The on-line system also offers members the facility to confirm they would like to participate in any number of the many friendly bowls matches at home and away throughout the summer season, and in a number of friendly indoor bowls matches held at local indoor bowls clubs in the winter. This on-line facility can also be used for club and match captains to invite members to play in team games, and in turn for members to confirm their availability. In addition the club’s ten internal club competitions can be viewed on-line, showing who is due to play who in forthcoming rounds, results of completed matches, and dates of forthcoming matches to facilitate spectating.
We have a stock of club owned bowls for new members to use free of charge when they first join, so they can try out different sized bowls before they buy their own.
Many of our members volunteer to help run and maintain the club. We have a green team and a club maintenance team who volunteer to keep the grounds and facilities looking great. This helps them to stay physically and mentally active and has developed a sense of friendship and camaraderie among them.
